Theravada Bags

We were very fortunate to test the Theravada backpack on the tropical spice Island of Zanzibar recently.  The bag uses a uniquely designed bracket that fits the Dahon (Tern) and Brompton bicycles.
The Theravada Bracket is an adaptor which is screwed on the luggage metal plate welded on the head tube.
Once monted on your folding bike, it stays on, ready to carry your back bag with its clipable frame.

We really enjoyed the bag; it has lots of pockets to store your laptop and other goodies.  The bag is produced with motorbike quality standards. It is made of  1680 D polyester, with rain impervious components. It is equipped with a frame which is attached or released in a second.
Capacity: 10 kg or a 17 inches laptop and your favourite smartphone plus connecting cables, files and notebooks, a raining coat, a folding umbrella and some basic bicycle tools i.e.  all we need for a successful working day.

This bag will soon be available via www.sa.dahon.com

Wanted to pass on that I purchased to Theravada front carrier block to adapt some of my Brompton bags to my Dahon. While the backpack looks great, the Brompton T bag is a favorite of mine. The Theravada front carrier bracket works great. It adapts my front carrier perfectly and I'm thrilled to be able to use a favorite bag up front on my Dahon.
